Nasal Septum
The nasal septumis composed of cartilaginous and bony components and influences the appearance of the tip of the nose and between the nostrils (Fig. 1). Deviation of the septum can involve the cartilage and/or bone (Fig. 2) and is the most common cause of nasal airway obstruction.
